The Bamboo Coder

About

Hello, my name is James. I initially discovered programming when I had to find a way to switch career fields due to health conditions. After discovering my passion for programming I went on to learn HTML, CSS, and Javascript. In learning these, I discovered that I really enjoy the logic behind programming, and enjoy the fact that you can bring anything you can think of to life, and see it in action on the screen. After creating my first graphics related program and seeing the stuff I coded move around, or change colors, was to me one of the most amazing things I have ever seen (even though this was just simple stuff at the time). This simple act of being able to see the logic I have implemented in code come to life, in the form of graphics or complex programs, is what continues to drive me forward in my programming career.

Currently, I have been programming for about 3 years since those first projects, and have noticed many times when I was searching for topics related to programming, that they were often times more complicated than they needed to be. To me, programming can be a fun, simple activity for anyone to be able to enjoy, especially with the correct preparation. Thus, I have created The Bamboo Coder as a way to write articles related to programming topics in a way that will simplify and make it easier for you to remember the information related to programming, design, and more.

While I may not be the most advanced coder, and still consider myself a beginner in all respects, I invite you to come along with me on my journey of programming and learn with me.

Topics you will see covered here will include things such as programming, game development, web design, and much more!
